  • Managing Director
    Beatriz comes from Spain, a passionate volunteer and traveler. She lived in Germany, Costa Rica and is currently based in London working as a travel consultant. Before her university studies in Management & Tourism, she had her first volunteer experience in Morocco and since then she participated in different non profit projects focused on children. After a long trip around Asia, she decided to learn more about International Cooperation & Humanitarian Law and keep fighting for a more fair, sustainable and humane world.

    Ioana Dragos, from Romania, in based in Berlin since 2016. She studied international business administration at the University of Vienna and has since then lived and worked in London and Berlin. During her university years, she has enthusiastically volunteered for the non-for-profit organisation AIESEC, which also promotes international internships. After an unpleasant volunteering experience in India, she decided to dedicate time towards making other people’s internship experiences better. more transparent and more rewarding. She is passionate about volunteering, start-ups, travelling and being environmentally friendly.
  • English into Spanish Translator
    Gonzalo Mena, from Spain, is an English and French into Spanish translator specialized in Audiovisual Translation and Localization. He is helping VOFAIR with the translation and localization of the webpage into Spanish trying to reach a wider audience in their goal of making the volunteering industry become an even more fair and responsible sector.
  • Founder & Managing Director
    Paulina Rakowska, from Poland, and based in Chile since 2011. Ecological economist & commercial engineer from education, she has been an expat to many countries, including Australia, Morocco, the UK, Hungary. As a couchsurfer, she cannot imagine traveling without meeting local people & learning about their way of living. Her professional experience armed her with a critical eye, entrepreneurial spirit, and an internal need to change things for better.
  • Public Outreach Manager
    David Šváb is VOFAIR’s Public Outreach Manager, from the Czech Republic. He has a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy, and has experience in sustainable human development, global affairs, developing and emerging regions, and innovative approaches to development. In addition to that, he is very enthusiastic about traveling and exploring new parts of the world. David’s main task is to ensure the visibility of our partners and our NGO, as well as advocacy and awareness raising in topics related to fair and transparent volunteering.
  • IT Manager
    Oleg Genaliuk is VOFAIR's Web Designer and Technical Expert. Web development and design testing are his favourite hobbies and he has created many websites. He holds a Master's in Financial and Economic Security of Enterprises and helps startups and IT companies to promote and develop their products. Oleg joined the VOFAIR team in order to enhance his own skills and to promote transparent volunteering.
  • IT Administrator
    Daniel Kofler, from Austria, is responsible for the webserver, database, security and mail management. He holds a Master’s degree in microsystems engineering and mechatronics and has a wealth of experience in IT infrastructure mainly on Linux servers and networks. Thus, he supports VOFAIR in all technical manners. He is enthusiastic about travelling and outdoor activities, especially rock climbing and slacklining. Daniel first encountered VOFAIR in 2014 after a long trip to South America, where he learned how important volunteers are and how important it is to support them.

    Irina Yugai has a varied professional background spanning from web analytics to internal communications. She was involved with internal communications in the aviation industry for 5 years, and she is now travelling the world and volunteering when she sees that her skills and knowledge are needed.
  • Researcher & Support
    Berta Csiki is a Finance and Accounting major at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Her academic and extracurricular activities are rather versatile, she always has something to do, and hates being bored. She first encountered VOFAIR in the summer of 2013, where she understood the importance of what VOFAIR is doing. She started to volunteer for VOFAIR in 2013 as a marketing intern volunteer, and now has taken a step back to manage VOFAIR´s subscribers and help with Facebook administration.
  • Outreach and Campaigns Manager
    Charlotte Tucker is our Outreach and Campaigns Manager, from the UK. She is passionate about doing everything in life ethically, from buying Fairtrade products to volunteering in a cancer research charity. She creates campaigns across all of our social media, blogs and outreach teams, so that we can inspire you with lots of cool and interesting ethical volunteering ideas. She loves using graphics and images to tell stories, and helping caring people like you find fantastic & impactful volunteer projects.
  • Verification Officer
    Kenny Nguyen is from Lowell, MA, a city north of Boston. He is one of our Volunteer Verifiers, working with different NGOs verifying different projects implemented He earned his B.A. in Global Studies with minors in Spanish and Psychology from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. Kenny hopes to work in the field of international human rights, focusing on the current refugee crisis. He is aware of the many injustices that are taking place in the world, is passionate about making the world a better place in any way that he can. Working as a Volunteer Verifier will ensure that these projects will be both beneficial to the local community and to the volunteer.
